sealant which is forced deep into the wood's fibers through a
thorough impregnation process. Then finish painted with the
platform assembly for further protection. |

- apitong (optional) wood flooring is 1-3/8" x 5" ship-lap boards
attached to the cross sills with trailer-type (torx) screws. |

2. Smooth Steel |

- 10 ga. (.135"), 7 ga. (.179") or 1/4" (0.25") smooth steel is laid
over 12 ga.(.105") "C" section longitudinal stiffeners on 11"
centers which are "crosshatched" with the cross sills. |

3. Treadplate Steel |

- 1/8" (.125") or 3/16" (.188") treadplate steel is laid over
"crosshatched" longitudinal stiffeners (see above). |
